Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning / Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3

The Peak Tram, The Peak Tower & The Sky Terrace 428 will remain open.

 

Black Rainstorm Warning

 

If hoisted before operating hour:

  • The Peak Tram, The Peak Tower & The Sky Terrace 428 will remain closed until the signal is lowered.

 

If hoisted during operating hour:

  • The Peak Tram will remain open with limited operations. The Peak Tower will remain open. The Sky Terrace 428 will be closed immediately.

     

Arrangement on service resuming

  • If the signal is cancelled or lowered at or before 6pm, the Sky Terrace 428 aim to resume three hours later. 

 

 

Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above

 

If hoisted before operating hour:

  • The Peak Tram, The Peak Tower & The Sky Terrace 428 will remain closed until the signal is lowered.

 

If hoisted during operating hour:

  • The Peak Tram will be suspended within approximately 1 hour. The Sky Terrace 428 will be closed immediately. 

    Guests already present will be guided and supported by staff to safety.

     

Arrangement on service resuming

  • If the signal is cancelled or lowered at or before 6pm, The Peak Tram, The Peak Tower & The Sky Terrace 428 aim to resume three hours later. 

     

  • If the signal is cancelled or lowered after 6pm, The Peak Tram, The Peak Tower & The Sky Terrace 428 will remain closed for the rest of the day.
