Alan Lee

Tram Engineering

“Every day is an opportunity to make a difference for our guests, our team, and myself.”

I joined The Peak Complex over a decade ago as a technician and now serve as Senior Duty Engineer. My journey has been driven by growth, resilience, and teamwork—from monitoring tram operations to leading major upgrades. Participating in the 6th Generation Peak Tram Upgrade was a key milestone, working with Swiss partners on installation and testing, which enhanced my technical and project management skills.

In recent years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my experiences with college students, helping them understand the depth and purpose behind our work. It’s incredibly fulfilling to inspire the next generation and show them how engineering at The Peak is not just a job—it’s a journey of impact and pride.

Tram Operations

“At The Peak, I’ve found more than a job—I’ve found a place where I’m valued, inspired, and driven to turn everyday interactions into lasting memories."

What makes working at The Peak truly special is the way people are valued. From day one, I’ve felt heard and supported—management genuinely listens to our feedback and takes meaningful action. It’s empowering to know our voices matter.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing guests leave with smiles and heartfelt thanks. Moments like these, especially on misty days when the Peak turns into a dreamy “fairyland,” remind me that we’re not just providing a service—we’re creating memorable experiences. That sense of purpose keeps me motivated every day.

Security & Operational Risk

“As a valued member of the security team and a Filipino national, I’ve found The Peak to be a workplace where inclusion isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a lived experience”

The culture here embraces diversity and empowers individuals from all backgrounds to lead, contribute, and grow with confidence. I’ve been encouraged to take initiative, strengthen team collaboration, and play an active role in enhancing our service standards.

This supportive environment has helped me develop both professionally and personally. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that my efforts contribute to a safe and welcoming experience for every guest. Each day, I’m driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—not just through security, but by being part of a team that interacts with guests from all over the world.

Guest Services

“Stepping outside my comfort zone changed how I see the world.”

The Cross Exposure Program took me to The Peninsula Hong Kong, where I saw how passion and anticipation drive world-class service. Working with the Baggage & Transportation and Concierge teams, I learned that creating memorable moments starts with truly walking in our guests’ shoes.

Supporting colleagues with baggage — whether delivering to rooms or storing items — reinforced the importance of teamwork and camaraderie, reminding me of the brotherhood I valued in school.

This experience taught me that teamwork and attention to detail inspire me every day to be more caring and collaborative. Hospitality is about making every moment remarkable, and I’m proud to be part of a team that lives this out.

Eric Wong

Tram Engineering

“My academic journey, paired with hands-on work experience, expanded my insights into the world of engineering and igniting my passion for the field even further”

During my internship with the Tram Engineering team, I gained hands-on experience in tramway safety and operations. Each day, I joined the team in inspecting track components, ensuring safety standards compliance. One memorable moment was identifying a well-utilised part and recommending a replacement—an experience that boosted my confidence and sharpened my decision-making skills.

A highlight was witnessing the annual rope shifting project, where I learned the intricate steps and rationale behind the process. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity—it deepened my understanding of tram operations and left me inspired by the team’s dedication and professionalism.

Annie Lin

Estate Management

““We learn together so we can grow together.”

With over 10 years in property management, I’ve always communicated with guests in Putonghua —but my Cantoneseaccented pronunciation sometimes made it challenging. Joining< the company’s Putonghua training course was a turning point.

The program focused on service-specific phrases and pronunciation techniques, helping me refine my tone and speak more clearly. I now feel much more confident interacting with visitors and have even started practicing with my colleagues. This shared learning experience has strengthened our teamwork and improved our overall service quality. I’m truly grateful for the company’s support in providing such a practical and empowering opportunity. It’s not just about language—it’s about growing together, enhancing guest experiences, and building a stronger, more connected team.
